Private Andes Day Trip: Maipo Valley and El Yeso Reserve w/ Winery Tour

Start the day with pick up service from your hotel location and begin the scenic drive towards South-East Santiago and the Andes mountain range (2 hours- 100 km /62 miles). On the way cross the Maipo Valley allowing us to appreciate great views over the Andes foothills and the Maipo River, accompanied by Chilean and Andes folklore music playing during our drive.

Once in our destination El Yeso Reservoir, we go on a small walk (2 km/ 1.3 miles approx.) bordering the lagoon to take in the landscape and obtain great photographs. Having a slight of luck you get to observe condors, eagles and wild foxes. After the walk, enjoy a nice picnic in the outdoors accompanied by wines, juices and tea along with a selection of typical Chilean treats such as cheeses, olives, biscuits and seasonal fruits.

On the return journey down the valley, enjoy and take photos at beautiful viewpoints and cascades. Before continuing the picturesque route towards the vineyard, stop at a local empanada shop for trying the traditional Chilean pies (optional stop - at your own expense).

We continue the drive bordering the Maipo River towards Pirque area until arriving in the Concha y Toro Vineyard. Explore the beautiful vineyards, mansion and cellar on a wine tour (1 h approx.) including three different tastings and a small souvenir gift. After the tour, you will have the chance to visit the Concha y Toro wine store and purchase products and souvenirs, before heading back to your hotel location in Santiago.
